A Versatile Product

Roller shutters provide flexible use. They can be descended to the desired extent, and, thanks to the construction of their slats, a little light can shine through small holes, or a fully darkened interior can also be achieved, all helping to ensure peaceful sleep. With quality blinds from renowned European suppliers, guide rails either side, and special insulating foam, the roller shutters provide excellent, durable performance. Thanks to our wide range of professionally applied colours, the box, rails, and blind can be coloured to match or contrast with each other to achieve a beautiful finish and add style to façades.

Choose the Roller Shutter Type

At Neuffer, we offer two different types of roller shutters: front-mounted and top-mounted. For each of these, various designs and models are available.

Front-Mounted Roller Shutters

Ideal for retrofitting as well as for new-builds, front-mounted roller shutters feature a box that can be installed on masonry above a door or window, or rather in its embrasure. Three differently shaped shutter boxes are available: a square shaped one or a semi-circular round option can add much style, for example, and there’s a flush shutter model that can be plastered over to become invisible from the outside.

Top-Mounted Roller Shutters

Best-suited to new-builds or renovations where an entire product will be replaced, top-mounted roller shutters are installed with the new product and feature boxes that will always be located inside the reveal. At Neuffer, we offer two models that primarily differ in terms of their energy efficiency and thermal performance. Both are compatible with plaster, bricks and ETICS façades. They feature shutter boxes with purpose-designed panels that can be effortlessly plastered over for a sleek property exterior where boxes are concealed, and blinds descend seamlessly.

The shape of the roller shutter box influences both the appearance and the installation method. Three different designs are available. Square boxes sit flush with the façade, creating a clean and defined look. Rounded boxes offer greater flexibility during installation and can be partially concealed within the window reveal. Flush-mounted boxes, on the other hand, are installed invisibly beneath the façade plaster, allowing for a particularly discreet and energy-efficient integration of the roller shutters.

Our shutters can be operated via a manual belt or crank or via a motor. If a motor is chosen, a solar option, wall switch, or remote-control option are available. We also offer Somfy smart home systems that can work with Alexa voice control. Sun and wind sensors that lead to automatic opening or closing are then additionally available.
