As a data engineer, you are an essential part of our data analytics and development team and contribute to the further development and optimisation of our data warehouse. Your focus is on the design, implementation and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes in an Azure environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, implement and improve ETL processes using Azure Data Factory to extract, transform and integrate data from disparate sources into our Azure SQL databases
- Ensure data quality by implementing data cleansing and transformation logic to ensure consistent and accurate data for business decisions
- Work closely with our data analytics and development team to understand data integration requirements and develop customised solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the data pipelines to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime
- Evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies to continuously improve the efficiency and scalability of our data infrastructure
